¿Se imaginan una iglesia en la que, los rockeros más pesados, peludos, gruesos y headbangeros (como éramos muchos de nosotros) puedan alabar a Dios en su propio idioma musical? ¿Se imaginan una iglesia en la que se cante con esta pasión, incluso con los helicópteros sobrevolando constantemente, pero alabando a Dios? ¿Por qué no se puede? ¿Por qué no se debe? ¿Porque lo correcto es domar al animal salvaje que llevamos dentro o porque es lo más fácil y cómodo para las iglesias? A veces pareciera que decimos: Si no te podemos domar, no hay lugar para vos aquí.Pero la pasión no se debe domar, sólo reencausar.
Personalmente, sueño con un servicio (o culto) PESADO en la Iglesia H3O al que quieran asistir los rockeros y quieran alabar a ese Dios que los hizo así: pesados.

Can you imagine a church where the most heavy, hairy, hardcore headbangers rockers (like a lot of us used to be) can worship God in their own musical language? Can you imagine a church where rockers sing with this passion, even with the helicopters flying above all the time, but singing to God? Why wouldn't it be possible? Why shouldn't it be possible? Is it because taming the wild one inside of us is the right thing to do or the easiest thing to do in church? Sometimes it looks like we say: If we can't break you, then you don't belong here.
But passion is not meant to be shut off, but redirected.
Personally, I dream with a HEAVY worship service at H3O Church to which the rockers would want to go and worship that God who made them like that: Hardcore passionate!
